We are honoured to once again join the ranks of Canadas 50 Best Employers, said Gordon Johnson,

Delta Vancouver Airport. We have a special culture here at the Delta Vancouver Airport and thats really

because of all the people who work here. And that gets translated to the guests who stay at our hotel

our employees make them feel at home.

The 50 Best Employers study measures employee engagement, not just satisfaction or benefits

programs. Engagement is about employees level of commitment and accountability for improving

business results.

The great thing about the team here at the Delta Vancouver Airport is that we are all committed to not

only making Richmond a great place to visit, but also a better place to live. We saw that with some of our

fundraising events this year, such as our Commuter Breakfast said Gordon Johnson. Our employees

worked hard to raise over $4,000 this year for different charities in Richmond and continue to help

strengthen our community every day.

Delta has also been named a Founding Partner of Excellence Canada (formerly the National Quality

Institute,) further illustrating Deltas focus on a healthy and supportive workplace. This puts Delta among

a selected group of top-tier companies such as Bank of Canada, National Post, Manulife Financial to

name a few.

The list of the 50 Best Employers in Canada, along with highlights from the research findings, will be

published in the October 31st issue of Macleans magazine, available on newsstands on October 20,

2011. La Presse will publish the list with editorial content on November 3, 2011.
