As the rain begins to ease up, sunshine and warmer temperatures are expected to make a reappearance later this week.
Sunday’s weather is expected to start with a 60 per cent chance of showers this morning and a risk of a thunderstorm, according to Environment Canada, before clearing up with a partly cloudy sky and a high of 4 C in the evening.
Increased cloudiness is expected throughout Monday with a high of 14 C and showers to return in the evening with a low of 8 C.
Tuesday will see a mix of sun and cloud during the day with a high of 17 C with a 60 per cent chance of showers in the evening and a low of 10 C.
Periods of rain will continue overnight into Wednesday, which will clear up by the evening.
From Thursday to Saturday, full sunshine is expected with a high of 21 C and a low of 10 C into the weekend.
