A motorcyclist is in hospital after his bike came off the road and skidded along the sidewalk.
Excessive speed is being investigated as a factor following the accident around 7 p.m. near Colville and No.2 roads on Sunday.
Its understood the biker was heading south when he lost control and ended up sliding along the sidewalk before coming to a stop.
The RCMP say the biker -- who's in his mid 20s -- is being treated for serious injuries, but at last word was listed in stable condition.
