Do you know where the name came from for Richmond's Horseshoe Way, slough and place?
The name of the area and road is assumed to be because of the horseshoe shape of the slough, according to the Richmond Archives.
The slough is actually the other half of Woodward's slough and may have been the original name for the entire slough.
