RCD launches Paralympic fan zone in Richmond

The non-profit's office at Lansdowne Centre is now the place to go to get into the Paralympic spirit this week

The Paralympic Winter Games has kicked off and, to celebrate the occasion, staff at the Richmond Centre for Disability (RCD) have gone all red and white.

The front window of RCD’s office in Lansdowne Centre has been transformed into a “fan zone,” where people can take selfies and send good luck messages to all the Canadian athletes in Beijing.

Coun. Alexa Loo was one of the first supporters on the scene on Monday at RCD’s fan zone.

RCD will also be streaming recordings of the Canadians in action at the Games this week.
