Rambo the ram was a little too ram-bunctious over the long weekend.

The ram, who led police and rescuers on a three-hour jaunt around East Richmond last week, caused a scene at the Richmond Animal Protection Society (RAPS).

Rambo broke out of his wire pen at the shelter, damaging it, and went on another bid for freedom within RAPS premises.

He was causing quite the commotion, dogs were barking at him, said RAPS animal control officer Shane Burnham.

A former owner had not come forward to claim the ram, so after another scuffle to capture Rambo, the farmer that had expressed interest in adopting the sheep last week was immediately contacted.

Rambo was then adopted by the local farmer on Monday. Good luck.
