More than 300 BC Hydro customers on Sea Island are without power Friday afternoon.
According to BC Hydro, the power outage, which affects 353 customers, is east of Dyke Road, south of Yew Street, north of Inglis Drive and west of Arthur Laing Bridge Way.
Vancouver International Airport says it is not affected by the outage.
"There is a power outage near YVR affecting traffic lights, residences and some businesses on Sea Island," YVR said in a tweet. "We have power in our terminal buildings and airport operations are not currently impacted."
Power has been out in the area since 12:38 p.m. While crews are on-site, there is no estimated time for when power will be restored.
The cause of the outage is under investigation.
There is also a second, smaller outage affecting less than five customers in the 5900-block of Ferguson Road, near McDonald Road.
Crews are also on-site to deal with that outage.
