Richmond News polled 624 Richmond News readers and asked the question: How are you feeling about 2022?

The poll ran from 12/31/2021 to 1/6/2022. Of the 624 votes, we can determine that 196 are from within the community. The full results are as follows:

Very hopeful, I can see light at the end of the COVID tunnel 12.24 % local, 11.86 % total    
Somewhat optimistic, it might take until the spring though 28.57 % local, 25.32 % total    
Skeptical, I think we might be stuck in this rut until well into 2022 33.67 % local, 37.02 % total
