Police on trail of three suspected thieves

Mounties want help from the public to identify two suspects believed to be responsible for stealing mail from an apartment building.

On June 14, police received a report that the mailboxes had been broken into at an apartment complex in the 8500 block of Ackroyd Road.

Video surveillance indicates that a male and female entered the lobby at around 2:30 a.m., at which point the master door of the mailbox was pried open and the contents removed.

The first suspect is a Caucasian male, 30-40 years old, five foot 11 inches tall, 200 pounds, medium build with short dark hair. He was wearing a black long sleeved shirt with silver stripes, jeans and work gloves.

The second suspect is a Caucasian female, 30-40 years old, five foot four inches tall, 130 pounds, thin build with long dark hair. She was wearing a white shirt, black track jacket and jeans.

Police also need in identifying a suspect that attempted to cash someone elses cheque.

On June 5, Richmond RCMP received a report from a 50-year-old Vancouver resident that someone tried to cash a cheque payable to her at the Coast Capital Bank at 6253 No. 3 Rd.

The suspect produced a fraudulent drivers license when asked for proof of identity and was turned away by the bank.

The suspect was captured on surveillance video and is as a Caucasian male, 35 to 40 years of age, six feet tall wearing a baseball cap and t-shirt.
