Richmond, being as flat as a pancake, isn’t renowned as being a destination for winter sports.
But some Steveston parents took upon themselves on Thursday afternoon to create their own, four-foot high “toboggan hill” for the kids.
And the youngsters made the most of Wednesday night’s heavy snowfall and the delayed start to school to test out the village’s answer to Grouse Mountain.
