A photo of a fashion clothing store from the 80s and 90s has brought memories flooding back for Richmondites.

The snap, posted by Rob Johal on community Facebook page “You grew up in Richmond, BC if you remember…,” is of Randy River in Lansdowne Centre.

Apparently, the store moved to Richmond Centre at some point in its life cycle, understood to have ended sometime in the early 2000s.

Some of the page members have vivid and comical memories of the items bought in the store, such as the silk shirts and a tie that zipped up.

One even recalled how the store’s “radio commercials were a little less than PC at least by today’s standards…!”
