Pedestrian suffers ‘significant injuries’ after Richmond collision

A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle last month near River Road and No. 5 Road, according to Richmond RCMP, who are now appealing for witnesses to the incident.

Richmond RCMP is appealing for witnesses of a collision that left a pedestrian with “significant injuries.”

The collision is believed to have occurred between approximately 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 13, near River Road and No. 5 Road, according to police.

“The victim suffered significant injuries to his head and back,” Richmond RCMP said in a statement.

While a suspect vehicle has since been located, police are now seeking witnesses who may have seen the Oct. 13 incident.

Richmond Watch General Investigative Services (GIS) is in charge of the investigation.
