Highway 99 ramp lane closures at the Steveston overpass will take place overnight for about a month.
Construction is happening at the eastern and western intersections of Steveston Highway as early as Aug. 10 for the second phase of the new five-lane Steveston Interchange Project.
Lane closures and traffic pattern shifts on Steveston Highway are expected between 9:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
For the first two weeks, roadwork will happen at the western intersection, where left turns will be restricted.
This will temporarily relocate the eastbound bus stop, on the south side of Steveston Highway, 200 metres to the west.
Left turns will continue to be restricted as construction shifts to the eastern intersection in the final weeks.
Road users should expect periods of uneven road surfaces, and buses will follow detour routes when needed.
The Steveston Highway northbound loop ramp onto Highway 99 will remain closed.
East-west travel on Steveston Highway will be maintained for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists.
