One woman was injured after a tractor tipped partially into a ditch on a Richmond farm yesterday.
Several emergency vehicles were seen along No. 4 Road near Finn Road on July 4 afternoon, temporarily blocking a section of the road.
In a statement to the Richmond News, Richmond RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Adriana O'Malley confirmed police attended the scene shortly before 4 p.m. in response to the industrial accident.
A woman was trapped by the tractor, she explained.
"The woman was extricated by Richmond Fire Rescue and transported to a local area hospital for treatment of minor injuries," said O'Malley.
According to paramedic public information officer Brian Twaites, one ambulance with primary care paramedics and a paramedic responded to the scene and provided emergency medical treatment to the woman.
WorkSafeBC was also at the scene.
