Trains are finally running in Richmond again.

According to TransLink, Canada Line service for both Richmond and YVR are now back in business after more than 8 hours.

However, there might still be some delays in Richmond as train spacing and gaps catch up with normal operating patterns.

A previous update stated that Canada Line service had stopped in YVR as well, with trains will only running between Waterfront and Templeton Stations. That has since been fixed.

An earlier tweet by TransLink explained that service had stopped in Richmond due to stalled trains.

Passengers were advised to transfer to the 403 and 430 buses at Bridgeport Station for Richmond-Brighouse. A YVR shuttle was also available from Templeton Station to Sea Island Station for those headed to and from YVR.

Meanwhile, the region is bracing for a "significant" winter storm after last night's thick blanket of snow. TransLink has asked customers to avoid travelling if possible and drivers were also warned to stay off the roads.
