Richmond's snowfall warning ended Wednesday morning, after days of winter weather brought hectic traffic, transit delays and school closures.

Richmond was blanketed by snow on Sunday, with flurries continuing through Monday and Tuesday. The City of Richmond was out overnight clearing and salting priority roads for the Wednesday morning commute.
Currently we have all #RichmondBC trucks concentrating on 1st & 2nd priority routes as snowfall continues to come in waves. While the snowfall warning has ended, flurries may still be expected throughout Wednesday, with some wet flurries on Thursday and Friday.

Richmond residents and business owners are reminded to keep sidewalks clear. Drivers are also reminded to clear off their cars completely to avoid a fine.
