Big crowds of commuters are building up on Bridgeport Canada Line station in Richmond

Most of the the Canada Line services are back to normal, after a technical issue this morning.

Trains, according to TransLink, are "operating from Waterfront to YVR-Airport and back."

However, a shuttle train is still operating between Richmond-Brighouse and Bridgeport Station.

According to TransLink earlier today, at around 9:15 a.m., the route was “experiencing delays due to inclement weather.”

There are photos on social media of commuters packing onto the platforms at Bridgeport station.

Massive delays across TransLink

TransLink is warning people of massive delays on all of its operations due to the approximate 25 centimetres of snow that fell Monday night into Tuesday morning.

Environment Canada is predicting, from its weather station at Vancouver International Airport, that the current storm will end around lunchtime.

But it is forecasting another snow event for the area on Thursday night into Friday.
