He was arrested again for allegedly going to a public park and breaching his release conditions.
Richmond Provincial Court 2
A man arrested for an alleged child-luring attempt will return to Richmond Provincial Court next week.

A man arrested last week for allegedly setting up a meeting in a park with a child using Snapchat will have his bail hearing next week.

Peter Andrew Wehren, 32, faces two charges for allegedly communicating with a person who was, or believed by Wehren to be, under 16 years old between Feb. 14 and 21 to facilitate some sort of sexual offence or abduction.

After the first arrest, he allegedly breached his release conditions on Feb. 23 by going to a public park and being in contact with persons under 18 years old. This resulted in three more charges.

He was originally scheduled for a bail hearing on Wednesday morning at Richmond Provincial Court, but the matter was adjourned until next week.

The victim's identity is protected by a publication ban.

Wehren is currently in custody and will return to court for his bail hearing on Tuesday, March 5.
