Several homes in Steveston had their mailboxes broken into this weekend.

Several mailboxes in a north Steveston neighbourhood were burglarized on Saturday morning.

The thieves aimed for the mailboxes around Lamond Avenue and Gormond Road on Feb. 11.

Around 6 a.m., surveillance cameras from local houses captured three suspects walking onto private properties and prying open mailboxes to steal the contents.

Richmond RCMP told the Richmond News they are investigating the matter and will not be releasing the surveillance video at this time.
