Mail thief to be sentenced in Richmond court next week

A woman with a long list of charges related to mail theft, using forged identity documents and breaking and entering will be sentenced next week.

Jennina Marie Resurreccion Baroja is set to be sentenced on Jan. 24 after pleading guilty last October to committing various offences in Richmond and Coquitlam from 2022 to 2023.

According to court documents, offences that took place in 2022 include breaking and entering into a Richmond house in February, using a forged Canadian Citizenship Card in Coquitlam in August, stealing parcels under $5,000 in Richmond in December and breaching probation orders.

Baroja will also be sentenced for attempting to defraud someone of less than $5,000 in Richmond back in January 2023.
