Letters: Why do builders start so early?

A Richmond News reader is besides himself with the dawn kick offs for construction near his home
housing construction in delta, bc

Dear Editor,

My apartment overlooks the new Richmond Centre development, and the level of noise is unacceptable.

What is more irritating is that city officials keep giving site noise exemptions.

On Saturday, Oct. 15, they started pouring concrete at 6:15 a.m.!

Given that this project will go for years, I think they can manage to start work on Saturdays at a reasonable time.

Shame on the city staff who approved these things.
