Dear Editor,
As I waited on the sidewalk of Cambie Road for over an hour on Friday afternoon, a gentleman came up to me and asked me why there were so many RCMP cars parked on the road with their lights flashing.
I said to him “the police officer that passed away is coming home.”
My condolences to Const. Yang’s family, friends and colleagues. May she never be forgotten.
Rest in peace, constable. Thank you for your service.
To the officer who thanked me for my support… thank you for what you do.
