Lansdowne Mall taped off after 'serious incident' in Richmond

Lansdowne Mall has been cordoned off after what police are calling a “serious incident.”

According to Richmond RCMP, officers arrived on scene after receiving reports of a “man-down” outside the mall.

One man was sent to the hospital with “serious injuries.”

The area north of Lansdowne Mall, near Alderbridge and Hazelbridge Way is blocked off by the Richmond RCMP and the public is being asked to avoid the area for the time being.

"There are no further details available at this time," said the Richmond RCMP in a media statement.

Richmond RCMP are asking for witnesses to come forward with any information they may have about the Lansdowne Mall incident.
