A local company completed its $100,000 donation pledge to benefit Richmond Hospital in December.

Yuanheng Holdings pledged to donate a total of $100,000 over a five-year period in 2018, after learning about the need for a new acute care tower at the Richmond Hospital.

The company made its final $20,000 donation, which will go towards building the proposed nine-floor acute care tower project -- The Yurkovich Family Pavilion.

“We believe that having good health care is important for the community, so we are pleased to support Richmond Hospital Foundation in enabling quality healthcare services now and into the future,” said Grant Lin, president of Yuanheng Holdings.

The new acute care tower will replace most of the original Richmond Hospital, which opened in 1966.

“We are grateful they have stepped forward to be part of the solution in advancing healthcare," said Natalie Meixner, president and CEO of Richmond Hospital Foundation.
