Kudos: Richmond credit union celebrates Steveston customer's 100th birthday

They certainly look after their customers at Coast Capital Savings in Steveston.

One of them, Pauline Scott, turned 100 last week and her local branch invited her in to present her with two dozen of her favourite yellow roses to celebrate her big day.

Aaron Brown, manager at the Blundell and Steveston branches, described Scott as a “firecracker” who “doesn’t take anything from anyone.

“We made her day and made her feel extra special as she doesn’t have any family around. Things might be hard at the moment, but taking the time to celebrate these types of milestones makes it all worthwhile."
