Did you take the plunge on New Year’s Day? Hundreds took part in the polar bear swim Jan.1, 2018 at English Bay.

The weather Monday was gorgeous, and the water temperature was 6°C. Swimmers across Metro Vancouver delightfully jumped into waters with bathing suits and costumes.

According to the City of Vancouver, the event first took place in 1920. It is one of the oldest and largest in the country.
