The largest secondary school hip hop dance competition in B.C. consists of over 20 high schools and 40 teams participating for the title of best high school dance team.
The competition began as a venue to promote extra-curricular opportunities for students to hone their dance, choreography and dance teaching skills.
"This is an opportunity for kids to do something active and fun while showcasing their talents," said founder Anita Perel-Panar.
This year's judges include Marc Generoso, Stu Iguidez and Angela Lowndes, who has been on So You Think You Can Dance, performed with Mariannas Trench and on MTV. Contact Perel-Panar at 604-266-3053 or 604-805-0558 for tickets or more information. The competition happens Sunday (Feb. 19) at 2 p.m.
