Garry Point Park has received a very special addition - an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Donated by the Heart & Stroke Foundation to the park as part of the BC Public Access to Defibrillation (PAD) Program, the AED is one of eight installed at high foot traffic areas in the city this year.
Others were installed at:
King George Park; Terra Nova Rural Park; West Richmond Pitch and Putt; Steveston-London Park; Garden City Park; Hugh Boyd Park and Minoru Park.
