Richmondites are invited to welcome spring at a vibrant celebration in South Arm Park this weekend.
The free annual Holi celebration in Richmond will return for the third year on Saturday, April 6.
Also known as the Festival of Colours, the Hindu festival is celebrated in India and around the world each spring, with participants often dousing each other with coloured water and powder while singing, dancing and sharing delicious treats.
The family-friendly event organized by Indians in Richmond, British Columbia (IRBC) will feature dance performances, live music and fun games for kids.
However, due to city guidelines, the event team will not be providing food or colours.
