The former beauty queen contestant charged with taking part in the Stanley Cup riot has had her case adjourned.
Sophie Laboissonniere, 20, did not appear at Vancouver Provincial Court on Wednesday to face charges of looting London Drugs and taking part in the riot.
She was, instead, represented by her lawyer, David Bauer, who hasnt yet entered a plea on his clients behalf.
Bauer, however, did indicate to media outside of court that Laboissonniere wanted to get the matter resolved as soon as possible.
The former McMath secondary student is scheduled to appear back at the same court on Jan. 19.
Just a few months before the June riot, Laboissonniere won the title of Miss Congeniality at the Miss Coastal Vancouver Pageant.

During each of the first appearances of eight accused rioters on Wednesday, the Crown gave notice that the attorney-general wants the riot-related cases televised a first for the Crown.
One prosecutor has been assigned to handle the broadcast applications and another four prosecutors are assigned to handle riot cases.
The move to have proceedings televised comes after
Premier Christy Clark said earlier that she wants to see riot-related court proceedings on TV for the public.
The premier also said she wanted those who took part in the riot and looting to face jail time.
So far, the Crown has approved riot-related charges against 27 people.
