A vehicle incident is causing major traffic delays on Highway 91 and motorists are encouraged to give themselves extra travel time this morning.

According to a Twitter post, a vehicle flipped upside down on Highway 91 eastbound and has the right lane partially blocked at Westminster Highway.

The left lane on Highway 91 westbound was also partially blocked by emergency crews, but has since re-opened.

Westbound traffic on Highway 91 is currently backed up to the mid-span of the Alex Fraser Bridge and onto the Highway 91 on-ramp from Highway 91A.

Meanwhile, eastbound traffic on the highway is crawling between Fraserwood Place and Nelson Road.
