A pair of crashes on Highway 91 in Richmond had caused major tailbacks during rush hour.
The first one happened at around 8 a.m. westbound on the 91 after the Westminster Highway overpass and was blocking the left lane.
And at about 8:30 a.m. there was another incident westbound before Nelson Road.
Traffic was tailed back to Annacis Island and drivers were being advised to avoid the route.
