The City of Richmond is currently accepting applications for its annual Grant Programs until Friday, Nov. 22.
The application process has been streamlined through the creation of a webbased system for non-profit organizations seeking grants.
The system emerged from stakeholder consultation, conducted as part of a City Grant Program review. City staff and community partners tested the software.
Applicants can begin the online process, save their work and return to it later. Documents can also be uploaded, and past applications can be retrieved. The grants fall under four categories: arts and culture; child care capital; health, social and safety; and parks, recreation and community events.
