A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held next week for the two brothers who died in a tragic car crash last weekend.

Shane and Jess Moses, 19 and 16, lost their lives the second the BMW they were passengers in struck a tree.

The car, driven by a yet-to-be-named 20-year-old who walked away with minor injuries, slid off No. 4 Road, just south of Steveston Highway, in the early hours of Saturday, May 12

A service to remember the brothers will be held Saturday, May 26 at Richmond Pentecostal Church, 9300 Westminster Hwy.

The family has asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to next years Matthew McNair dry grad celebrations the school attended by the brothers - and to a bursary in their names.

Any cheques should be made payable to the Shane and Jess Memorial Fund, c/o Matthew McNair secondary, 9500 No. 4 Rd., Richmond.

Police have yet to lay any charges against the 20-year-old driver although they indicated that they suspected alcohol and/or speed was a factor in the crash.

Friends of Shane and Jess said the brothers hosted a drinking party on the fateful night, at which the driver was also in attendance.
