The Canada Line trains will keep on rolling after 150 unionized workers reached a tentative agreement with their employer today (Feb. 4).

Announcement of the deal comes after five days of mediation at the Labour Relations Board.

No details have been released as workes must still meet to ratify the deal, said officials with the B.C. Government and Service Employees’ Union.

In December, the workers — made up mostly of station attendants — voted 99 per cent in favour of job action if talks had failed.

They had been working without a contract since December of 2013.
