An adorable fundraising and education event is coming to Richmond this Easter.

Local rescue Rabbitats and its furry residents are hopping to Lansdowne Centre's "Hoppy Easter Festival" on March 29 for a "meet and treat" fundraiser.

Community members will get to feed and bond with bunnies for 10 minutes with a $5 donation, and learn more about them from volunteers.

The event will also feature a photo booth and a bunny-themed craft market.

Also on March 29 is an Easter bunny and egg hunt, where participants can match the bunnies to their corresponding eggs from clues around the mall and get a prize.

The Easter celebration will run from 12 to 5 p.m. on March 29 in Lansdowne Centre. For more information, visit Lansdowne Centre's website.
