A body has been found floating on the middle arm of the Fraser River, near to the UBC Boathouse.
Shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Richmond Mounties were called to the 8,000 block of River Road, between Cambie Road and Capstan Way, after a body was reported to be floating in the water.
The RCMP and the BC Coroners Service are now investigating and due to the condition of the body, a post-mortem is scheduled to be performed early this week.
Police say no further information will be provided at the moment.
