Come celebrate Science and Technology Week at Richmond Public Library's sixth annual Science Bash on Friday, Oct. 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Witness "hair-raising" science experiments and make candy DNA models. The Richmond Public Library (RPL) presents a free seminar on Literary Activities of Early Chinese Immigrants with professor Emeritus Laifong Leung. On Saturday, Oct. 20 the Richmond Centre for Disability (RCD) will be holding its signature annual fundraiser at the River Rock Casino Resort. This year's Gala "Viva Las Vegas - A Tribute to Elvis" highlights a performance by world renowned Elvis tribute artist Darren Lee, dance to live music, games of chance and a Las Vegas style buffet.
