With the winter holidays coming to an end after this week, it's time to say goodbye to our Christmas trees.
The Richmond Firefighter Charitable Society is hosting its annual tree chipping event on Jan. 7 and 8, 2023
The event will take place at Garry Point Park between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
All donations raised at the event will be used to help the community.
Event organizers remind people to water their trees or place them outdoors if it begins to dry.
