After 25 years with the Richmond Chamber of Commerce, Carol Young is calling time on her career. A celebration of her work with the chamber will be held April 27 from 5:30 – 8 p.m. at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel (7551 Westminster Hwy.).
Young started at the chamber back in 1991 when she was hired as a receptionist. Since then, she’s held numerous positions, from office assistant and events coordinator, to manager of events and administration, and last year’s six-month-long role as acting executive director.
