White Water making waves in China

A deal signed Nov. 6 by Richmond’s White Water West to develop an all-season water park in Hong Kong is expected to help Ocean Park Hong Kong become an iconic tourist attraction. The announcement was part of B.C. Premier Christy Clark’s trade mission to China and Vietnam. Richmond Centre MLA and Minister of International Trade Teresa Wat was at the event. The Water World project is scheduled for completion in the second half of 2018, and will accommodate up to 10,500 visitors a day.

The facility is expected to include 27 indoor and outdoor water-themed attractions. White Water West has completed more than 100 high-quality waterpark and themed attractions projects in Asia, many of which are award-winning parks with state-of-the-art water rides and various other attractions.
