A shop in Steveston that has been selling wool and knitting needles for 20 years will close its doors at the end of the year.

Wool & Wicker, on Second Avenue between Moncton and Chatham, announced it's closing on in its website, saying its final sale has already started.

The shop is not only selling its inventory of wool and knitting supplies, it is selling the furnishings in the business as well.

On its website, Wool & Wicker expresses its “deepest gratitude” to its loyal customers.

“Your unwavering trust and patronage have been the driving force behind our success, and we genuinely appreciate the opportunities you have given us to serve you,” reads the announcement on Wool & Wicker’s website.
