The public can now nominate Richmond businesses for the 15th annual Small Business BC Awards.
The awards recognize the achievements of new and existing small businesses in B.C., and their contributions to the local and global communities, said Leah Baker, marketing coordinator of Small Business BC.
“It’s also a unique opportunity for the public to show their favourite local businesses some love and appreciation for what they do,” said Baker.
Free nominations can be made at SBBCAwards.ca until Nov. 30 in 10 categories including Best Community Impact, Best Employer, Best Innovation and Best Immigrant Entrepreneur.
The winners will be announced at the Small Business BC Awards gala on Feb. 23, 2018.
Baker said four Richmond businesses have already been nominated, and the full list of nominations is available at SBBCAwards.ca/Nominees.
