Richmond-based OpenRoad Auto Group has been recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for excellence in business performance for the fourth year in a row. This year, OpenRoad earned Gold Standard status for its continuous commitment to business excellence.
Sponsored by Deloitte, CIBC, the National Post, Queen’s School of Business and MacKay CEO Forums, the Best Managed award recognizes Canadian owned and managed companies with revenues over $10 million for sustained growth, financial performance, management practices and the efforts of the entire organization.
Open Road earned the recognition for employing new technologies and programs designed to improve overall customer experience. It also maintains one of the highest employee retention rates in the industry.
Part of that is OpenRoad Heart, a peer-to-peer recognition program built on a custom mobile app that employees can use to recognize peers for favourable actions and attitudes in the workplace. Since it launched last year more than 2,500 actions have been recognized.
