Richmond missed out on cracking the top 10 best cities in B.C. for work, according to a BC Business magazine ranking. Richmond finished in 12th spot, just ahead of Kamloops and behind Kelowna.

Richmond missed out on cracking the top 10 best cities in B.C. for work, according to a BC Business magazine ranking. Richmond finished in 12th spot, just ahead of Kamloops and behind Kelowna. Vancouver was 17th, Burnaby was 14th, and topping the list was Fort St. John. The magazine’s evaluation was based on six economic indicators that reflected the health of a city’s job market. They included: five-year average household income change, average household income, average household income for those under 35, five-year population change, unemployment rate, and percentage of households with university degrees.
