You may have to skip your swim or exercise routine today if you normally visit Richmond’s Watermania.
A power outage has Watermania closed to the public on Monday morning and potentially for most of the day.
According to BC Hydro, an equipment failure is the cause of the outage and is affecting the area north of River Road, south of Blundell Road, west of Hopcott Road and east of No. 6 Road.
Crew is on-site and power is expected to be back on around 3:30 p.m.
The City of Richmond posted on their website that they will keep the public updated.
