The executives of Ideon Packaging look at the company as a people business that “happen to manufacture packaging.”

“I look at this award as the most important award to win. How a business treats its team members is how they will treat their customers. In business today you need to be customer centric in order to succeed,” said Rick Van Poele, Ideon CEO and president.

“The key to our success is making decisions based on our people, not the bottom line.

“If we’re successful in taking care of our employees, they will be empowered to turn around and take care of our customers.

“As I always say ‘focus on doing the right things and your bottom line will fall into place.’ Every one of our team members are keenly aware of the role they play in Delivering WOW to our customers.”

He said Ideon is committed to offering more than a day job, but a community. By fostering a dynamic community, Ideon has succeeded in growing.

“Ideon’s greatest goal is to elevate team members to reach their maximum potential, and to give them the opportunity to live their passions every day.”

This is done through a stimulating, customer-focused work environment, or through their own charity organization “4theKids.”

“People are the what, the how, and the why behind everything that this company does; without a dedicated team, filled with inspiring ideas, great packaging wouldn’t be a possibility,” said Van Poele.
