Where do you go for a more than average burger? Richmond-headquartered Boston Pizza is hoping its new lineup on its menu will entice customers to give them a try. Among those added to the list recently are a spicy perogy burger, a pizza burger and a dessert burger (pictured below) without any beef but a combination of chocolate ganache and vanilla ice cream, drizzled with caramel sauce and sandwiched between a warm, sweet bun. Sales of burgers at Boston Pizza, which was founded in 1965, make up about five per cent of the company’s take. But it’s only been in the last six years that burgers were added to the menu.
