A Richmond performing artist and educator has followed up The Isolation Sessions she helped release in the spring with a set of festive – and international - collaborations.

To help people struggling to get into the party spirit during the pandemic, Jill Raymond has recorded a series of videos featuring local performing artists, all while in isolation, hence the sessions’ title.

With some returning artists - the lineup includes classic, contemporary and some original songs with talented local performers, as well as international collaborations with vocalists from England and Spain.

And the videos are heavily laced with humour and wit, given the festive predicament most people find themselves in this holiday season.

The videos are available free on The Isolation Sessions’ YouTube channel, with new songs being released daily throughout the holidays.

The first two are already released, with the aptly updated Have Yourself A Merry Little Distance (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbVNgyP99Ck) and a stripped down and jazzy version of What are you doing New Years? (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmHz7irbClw).
