Three artists win People's Choice award for ArtRich 2023

Bi-annual art exhibition featured 50 local artists.

Three pieces of art out of 50 were chosen for the People's Choice awards at the 2023 ArtRich exhibition.

The Richmond Arts Coalition held its fifth juried art exhibition from Nov. 24 to Dec. 31 featuring 50 local artists.

Emily Lau's painting titled "Homeless Crow," Jennifer Po's "Family Vase" and Kara Brauen's textile work titled "Passing Notes" received the most votes from the 347 ballots submitted.

Every two years, the Richmond Arts Coalition holds an art exhibition at the Richmond Art Gallery called ArtRich that showcases the city’s artists and puts a spotlight on emerging talent.

The exhibition is held with the support of the Province of British Columbia, the BC Arts Council and an Arts Impact Grant.
